Look what I found, guys!

Yet another test about your wand. Well, it's really the Pottermore test because I've done it on the site and the questions are the same, but I was not really sold on my wand? Apparently, my material of choice was dogwood and it's noisy and I have to use my voice for the spells. LOL, Rowling this time you failed to spot this introvert.

Now I must have answered differently to some question, because it's pine. Such gorgeous tree! Although ALL trees are gorgeous and majestic and amazing.

Ollivanders Bespoke Wand Selector
Your Result: Pine, Phoenix, 13 3/4″, Pliant:
This core is the rarest of the three, as it comes from an elegant yet detached creature which is seen as one of the most exotic in the wizarding world. Phoenix feather wands are capable of the greatest range of magic, although this means that sometimes they will act of their own accord. Wands with this expensive material as their core are the pickiest of all the cores in choosing the most suitable owner, and allegiance is often hard-won.

Owners of Phoenix Feather wands - Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort, Silvanus Kettleburn, Celestina Warbeck
Dogwood, Phoenix, 13 3/4″, Flexible
Cedar, Unicorn, 14″, Reasonably Supple:
English Oak, Phoenix, 13″, Supple
Cedar, Dragon, 13 1/2″, Quite Bendy
Pear, Dragon, 14 1/4″, Hard
Hawthorn, Dragon Heartstring, 14 1/4″, Brittle
Cherry, Dragon, 13 1/4″, Quite Flexible
Cypress, Unicorn, 13 1/2″, Slightly Yielding
Ebony, Unicorn, 13 1/4″, Rigid

And, guys, did you see that if your write Harry Potter or the name of your Hogwarts House on Facebook you get the wand doing magic? It's pretty.

I also saw the famous photo of JKR writing at the pub where she composed the "Philosopher's Stone". I think that, when I'm done studying, I'm going to re-read the books. Or at least the last one? Because I really loved it and I had so many feelings.

JKR looked sooo pretty with red hair.

Also, here's is SO GODDAMN HOT and I can't even find the energy to open my books. Henceforth this post.

'Cause I posted this stuff on Tumblr, so anyway!

As I was looking for new posts about my favorite Gryffindor babe Harry, I bumped into a very common critique against the “Cursed Child” plot and … I kind of want to say my opinion about that?

It seems to me that many fans are upset and disappointed by the relationship between Harry and his son Albus Severus aka = “Harry sucks as a dad!”

About that, I just want to point out that:

- While I maintain my inalienable right to ignore the Cursed Child and, generally, to ignore the whole epilogue and imagine a different future for the characters

- While I firmly believe that, even in the Cursed Child, Harry is not a bad father, but a confused and overwhelmed man trying his best and failing for different reasons …

I have to say that the only thing that actually makes sense to me about Harry’s life as “mature adult” is his failure as father figure.

Don’t mistake me: Harry is my favorite character of the saga and his heart is full of love and compassion. I don’t believe it would be hard for him to love deeply and completely another human being, especially a son.

But that’s the thing: while Harry can love, he also has a lot of unresolved trauma on his back and I think that a love so overwhelming would definetely scare him.

Especially because he doesn’t know how to parent. He didn’t have any positive model during his childhood - while being constantly abused, he also witnessed the awful parenting of Vernon and Petunia towards Dudley - and later he had only tragic and/or problematic parental figures that also fucked him up.

My boy Harry would be terrified by the very idea of being a father, IMHO. And the younger the scarier, because he didn’t have the chance and the time to work on his own issues.

What do you think about that?

Let Harry go to therapy.

So, I messed up AGAIN with technology and I did something wrong with my antivirus program because it crashed and I had to restart the WHOLE computer. Damn! I did restablish windows and chrome (As antivirus now I have Windows Defender, which was the default one, I guess. Is that any good?) I still have to download the program to watch movies and some other stuff I can't remember at the moment because it's SO LATE and I'm SO TIRED.

Good news, the computer didn't delete all my stuff, especially the university files I'm needing to study. Bad news ... I don't even know? I'm restarting the whole thing now, putting on passwords and stuff. I'm too tired to deal with anything else. Tomorrow is another day, as the movie says. And I have to study.

In case something weird happens and you don't hear from me, I was not abducted by the aliens (Hopefully) it's just technology issues.

But also, writing this message to inform you that I dreamed of Harry Potter last night! *___*

I dreamed that I was inside the narrative along with JKR herself. (I should read less fanfics, I know) And anyway, I was with Joanne and we were together inside Harry's reality and I was in the middle of criticizing her choices about the Epilogue. XD

In my dream, Harry and Ginny had eight children (Nine, but one died after birth or something) Plus Harry had three other children from another woman? And I was like: "Joanne, that was truly unnecessary! Twelve children in total are too many! I didn't really like him with Ginny and, anyway, he didn't need to have children in order to be happy!"

And she was like: "You don't understand, but it makes perfect sense!"

And that's was the second time I've ever dreamed about Harry Potter. (Though the first time happened while I was reading the last book, so you know, normal to dream about the book you're currently reading)

Imagine Harry with twelve children though, DAMNNNNN.

Hi guys, how are you?

I'm good. On Sunday, I went out with my dear friend L. and Little One and we took him to the local museum. Awwww, HE WAS SO CUTE!!!!!!!!! As you probably already know, in Sicily there are many remains of the Ancient Greek culture. Helenistic Sicily was very rich in terms of exchanges and cultural landscape and we have the privilege to guard a lot of this wealth. There are so many stuff to see and, in the place where I live, the most important are related to the worship of Demeter and Kore (And Hades, obvs) because they were the agriculture deities.

So, I took Little One with me and we saw all these ancient statues of the Greek gods and, at some point, he asked me if Hades was before or after the dinosaurs. I answered that Hades was way after, since the dinosaurs were pretty much the first things ever, but he replied to me that the first thing ever had to be Jesus, "Because he was born in year zero!

Well, there's a solid logic working on there. I'll work on explaining chronology, at some point. XD

Anyway, it was fun and he's the cutest child ever. I love him so much <3333 and I love babysitting him.

On fandom matters, HD_remix has already started and I'm already behind (Ouuuch). I need to manage my free time in order to enjoy the beautiful new creations. I'm so exciteeee! And today is May 2th, the anniversary of the "Battle of Hogwarts"!

On that note ... guys, can we please not with these stupid flame wars?

Apparently, there's a whole "situation" going on because, on this day, JKR apologized for the death of Snape. Why does she feel the need to even apologize for her writing choices is beyond me. I believe she shouldn't even address these matters. But you know, it's a free country (hers and also mine, hopefully XDD) and everyone should do whatever the hell he/she wants.

I'm just so borderline annoyed with the black & white Tumblr logic sometimes. I don't understand how can you enjoy a work of art - a work of any kind, really - while being obsessed with some restrictive morality standards. Do you know that morality standards are a product of society during a certain time period? By moral standards, we have a lots of 1600 morality books shaming women with different sexualities or because they were more free, for example. It's a thing, go check in your History books or local library.

Now, the moral imperative seems to be enjoying and stanning only "unproblematic faves" (Ignoring that actual reality that humans are, pretty much by definition, flawed creatures) and Snape is very, very problematic.

(I can't believe I'm doing this, I don't even like Snape!)

... But what the hell are we even talking about??

People can like Snape! Are we having arguments about this? Of course, you can like Snape. Just as I like Draco, for example, who is a bully as a kid and a coward, or just as others can like Voldemort or Bellatrix who are pretty much freaking evil.

It's the beauty of narrative. You can like problematic things while being safe. You don't have to share your favorite characters' beliefs, not always. Of course, it's uplifting to see a character who embodies your values and most optimist beliefs (For me, Harry is a character I would like to emulate in my RL. Or Buffy Summers. They are brave and generous, I admire that deeply) But you can also enjoy the narratives of literal pieces of shit.

Now, arguments and stuff I would like to point out:

Snape really was BRAVE. One of the bravest characters we encounter in the whole saga, where bravery is valued above all virtues. Snape tries to manipulate and lie to a goddman evil sociopath with a snake face. Someone who terrifies even his most loyal acolytes. (Lucius Malfoy was SCARED AS FUCK during the whole table scene/chapter at the Manor in DH) And, in order to accomplish that, one must have balls of steel. Let's be real here.

Now, do you find difficult to believe that Harry James Potter - Gryffindor extraordinarie and boy who sacrified himself at the age of 17 - would admire and even celebrate this bravery? Once again, he values - and the author herself values - bravery above all things, because bravery requires great sacrifices and it's the hardest thing to do. Also, Harry is forgiving in his nature. He even manages to pity Voldemort during their last stand. WTF!

I don't find hard to believe that he would admire Snape and possibly even use his first name for a son. That's Harry.

There are cinnamon rolls too pure for this world and there are characters who manage to be both selfish and selfless at once and they have their own group of admirers. It's natural.

Do I personally like Severus Snape? NOPE. But that doesn't matter. Back off from people's imagination.

kikimay: (Two sides of the same coin)
Guysssssss, hi!! How are you? I hope you're all well and enjoying these late April days. Which are freaking cold around here, idek.

Today there's a national fest, the "Liberation Day", which celebrates the arrival of the Anglo-American soldiers who fought alongside the Italian Resistance to finally free the penisula from nazi-fascism. Of course, there are still folks who don't like this celebration, who miss Mussolini and fascism. How come, in effin' 2017, one can be nostalgic over a short, bold asshole who liked to talk non-sense and parade around like a cock, you ask? The human mind is a gross mystery.

But anyway, National Celebration, yaaayyy!

On this day, allow me to rec some Draco/Harry stuff. First of all, I'm still 3000% over-emotional about this pairing. I don't know what it is - or to be more honest, I can understand and try to analyze what it is, but the emotional variable is something one cannot control.

I suppose that this old fashioned tale of love and redemption speaks to my soul. Both Draco and Harry have traits, as single characters, that fascinate me and having them interacting is bliss. And yes, Draco is problematic! "My fave is problematic", Tumblr folks! He was a Death Eater and, before that, an annoying bully. I can understand the hate towards a character like him (Although, he's very much romanticized by the fandom which, again, understandable for reasons and also problematic) When I bump into a story that show this character's complexity, his contraddictions, his cowardice and his beauty and I'm just .... !!!!! MAN!

I'm still in that emotional place where good hurt/comfort fanfics kill me dead. While I adore fluff, established relationship shenanigans, children fics and over-indulge into writing them myself, when an author portrays the blossoming romance, the slow falling in love between one Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy with all the problems and the angst that is courtesy of their past, I turn into actual jelly.

Case in point, the fic I want to rec today:

(Should I rec things more often? I'm so inconsistent with everything, I wouldn't trust myself)

I felt lots of feelings while reading this story and I'm sure many of you will too. It's a slow-build and deals with injury and disability on Harry's part. We have redemeed Draco but his past isn't forgotten, he still displays his best qualities. Awww. I don't know guys, I just want to save this blond little shit and redeem him. Sue me.

Also, a fanart with the ultimate Older!Drarry aesthetic:

Hot and brave and heroic and HOT Harry, with a bit of white in his hair and the beard of sex, and long-haired Draco. Sweet dreams are made of this. Sue me, part 2.

And also this actual piece of pure Draco Malfoy aesthetic:

To hopefully please [personal profile] felixfvlicis You're a precious rainbow ice-cream filled cake and I love  ... pleasing your eyes, I suppose! XD

Enjoy the OTP! I'm gonna make dinner.

kikimay: (Runs in the family)
Hi guys! How are you?

I was informed of the London attack about an hour ago, I hope everyone in "here" is fine. My thoughts are for the victims of this inhumane act. Wow, reading the news SUCKS. I feel so enraged all the time.

And, anyway, on a more frivolous and joyful side of life; [ profile] hp_goldenage just revealed the names of the authors and artists of this year "Salt and Pepper" Fest. I LOVED being part of it. I loved writing a story about older Draco and Harry and I loved reading the other creations. I know I'm maybe unfair because so far I'm limiting my experience to my OTP stories, but I feel so strongly about mature Harry and Draco. I have many feelings and many thoughts about it.

I wrote a thing myself! And you can find it in here:

Once again, romance but also contraddictory feelings about Malfoys, exploration of the father/son relationship between Lucius and Draco, because that's how I roll.

I hope you enjoy reading this thing. Soon I'll be replying at the lovely and thoughful comments on the fest post. Thank you, guys! <3333
kikimay: (Two sides of the same coin)

Draco's hairstyle from the Cursed Child play AKA: the only thing I will consider CANON AF until the end of my days.

Long haired!Draco is thing. Draco who likes to braid his hair in the most elegant and sophisticated ways. Draco who combs his hair carefully before going to bed with Harry. Draco who uses expensive hair products, even if after the war he became more and more considerate about spending money, because on post-trail restrictions but also because of what he saw during the war and how it changed him. Still, Draco who will keep his hair sane and strong with every the possible mean.

Also, occasional bob haircuts in the Summer, when he likes to rock it a bit. (I do believe Lucius will always have the better, stronger hair, but this boy WILL TRY forever) Braids, masculine yet cool accessiories. Softest hair ever.

This has been a post.
kikimay: (Runs in the family)
Home safe, even if my head is a bit spinning-y.

I'd like to share the fanfic I wrote for [ profile] hd_owlpost, since all the authors and artists are revealed (And I would really like to recommend this fest, I had so much fun and I've read so many wonderful stories!)

Here's my work: Cradlesong

To be honest, I feel strangely proud of this. I don't want to be arrogant, but I really, really liked writing and thinking about this story and I think it's one of the best stuff I've wrote this far. For some reasons, the subject shifted from Draco/Harry to Andromeda Tonks and her relationship with her sister, with the people she lost in the war, with her grandchild. In the end, the story failed to be a "shippy" one, but it felt good to give space to Andromeda (And to depression and all those strange states of mind I'm so fond analyzing in my writing XD I'm obnoxious)

I love, love, love female characters who feel so much and hurt so deep.

(And yes, I put there also the Drarry 'cause you know me)
kikimay: (You Wonderful Boy)
Okay, since I'm pretty bored and I can't catch any sleep, this is officially happening: the Sorting Hat for the BtVS characters (Because on Tumblr everybody does it and I'm not good with graphics and also I like to rant aimlessly)

If you're not familiar with the Sorting: in the Harry Potter universe, at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, there are four houses, each one *picks* its own students who possess the qualities favored by the house itself. This categorization embodies abilities/qualities of the single student, but most of all his goals in life, in the pursuit of happiness and personal growth, and in his ideal view of the world.

And since, basically, these four houses kinda work for everyone, people like to put other characters from other fandoms in these tiny shiny boxes. Boxes are fun.

1) Gryffindor, the house of Harry Potter himself and the protagonists of the saga. The qualities favored by Godric Gryffindor, who founded the house, are: chivalry, bravery, daring, nerve, recklessness. Most of all: the majority of Gryffindors seems to be guided by a moral code encompassing all their actions. Meaning: these guys want to be *heroes*, they want to do good in the world, to change it rightly. (Of course, not all Gryffindors are like this - Peter Pettigrew is a traitor and a coward - and some Gryffs are just show offs and vain) But generally, these guys aim for the Greater Good.

2) Hufflepuff. Qualities: kindness, patience, hardwork, honesty, dedication. The nurturing/hard working type. "The good guys", due to the qualities listed above - although exceptions are always need to be considered - but Rowling herself has a pretty great opinion of Hufflepuff and, honestly, people who are tolerant and loyal and pretty much just trying to do good for other's sake are just great, so.

3) Ravenclaw. Qualites: creativity, originality, wisdom, curiosity. I wouldn't say necessarily logic though, because Luna is often seen as quintessential Ravenclaw and, while she's certainly not lacking in the curiosity/originality field, "her logic does not resemble our Earth logic". And that's the whole point of Logic, guys. But, you know, other ways of thinking and all that stuff. (Still, Hermione Granger, who is sorted in Gryffindor, is much more coldly logical) Ravenclaws are motivated by their desire to gain knowledge and their creativity.

4) Slytherin, my little cousin's favorite house because of snakes. Qualities: cunning, ambitious, self-preserving, determined (Although I recently saw this quality in the Gryffindor description on Pottermore, ouch!), resorcefulness. Slytherins are motived by their ambition and their quest for greatness, which could potentially lead to very narcissistic, self-serving individuals who only care about their personal gains. And the whole saga went on and on about that. But Slytherin doesn't equal evil and some of them are the most interesting, complex and even heroic characters. To understand their fuckery think about the Odyssey, when Ulysses pwns Polyphemus by letting him get drunk and then blinding him. That's the kind of clever and cunning we're talking about. (And that he reveals his true name! Aww <3) Again, not authomatically evil.

And that's it. I honestly wouldn't assume anything else about the characters and how they behave and revolve around the others. These are general boxes and, as proved in the books, pretty different people are classified in the same way (Think about Cho Chang being in Ravenclaw: she's very emotional, not at all just cold logic and wisdom)

So, I would just put the Buffyverse character in a box, instead of another, because of what I think they are trying to accomplish with their lives )
kikimay: (Sad bored dry. Your crippled Venus)
Guys, guys, guys!

I saw FANTASTIC BEASTS and I believe I've also catched the flu *sighs* But mostly, I SAW FANTASTIC BEASTS!!!!!! *throws confetti at self*

It's late and I really should go to bed at this point, also because I took medication to prevent the flu (I can't catch it right now, c'mon! I need to study!) But I need to write a quick comment on the movie because you know, MUCH EXCITE and stuff.

Liked it, although not really into the story of the beasts themselves. The whole pokemon-like chase of them was a little bit boring for me. I did appreciate the worldbuilding of the Wizarding community in America and the characters. Eddie Redmayne has such a cute face, I want to pinch his cheeks! I liked Queenie and Tina, awww, and Jacob, OMG! So, so adorable.

And, of course, the whole graphics/costumes/scenery porn. Really cool. But I'm eager to see more about the story will all know of Dumbledore and Grindelwald and about that

Anyway, hope you also enjoyed the movie. I'm gonna read AAAALLL the spoilers/reviews tomorrow.
kikimay: (Buffy's smile)
On totally unrelated news, the Patronus Charm is officially on Pottermore!

And, I shit you not, my Patronus is an unusual animal. And it's a Buffalo.

kikimay: (Oh children)

Hi guys, how are you?

Still edgy myself. I've discovered "American Crime Story" which seems catchy and I'm gonna watch it now.

Also very ranty lately about Hogwarts Houses, Hermione Granger and Harry. I would like to share my observations with you, so maybe we can start a discussion? Or whatever you prefer.

These meta-ish observations took place at [ profile] ever_neutral's LJ, because she recommended a Tumblr about House Sorting:
The Sorting Hat Chats which is a interesting reading and an in depth analysis of the Houses. In the page I've linked, you can read the basis of this analysis and if you like metas, this is just meat for your teeth! :3

Since I was sorted in Ravenclaw at Pottermore, I was curious to see if the Tumblr definition was also fitting to my case and I've read something and my brain started working on his own.

So, in the category "Ravenclaw Primary", we can read this definition:

Ravenclaw Primaries have a constructed system that they test their decisions against before they feel comfortable calling something right. This system might be constructed by them, or it might have been taught to them as children, or it might have been discovered by them some point later in life. But it gives them a way to frame the world and a confidence in their ability to interact with it morally.

Interesting. Except that I have critical thoughts about it.

Brace yourself )

kikimay: (You Wonderful Boy)
Goodnight, guys. Actually going to bed because I've spent an interesting hour, so to speak. (Do you remember that scene with Ron throwing up slugs after the failed curse against Draco? Well, that was me a little bit earlier. Interesting times.) Also still having a hard time with family related stuff because, surprise, I've discovered that basically all my American relatives are going to vote for Donald Dick. EWWWWW. Do I have to fight with them too now? Uuugh. Humanity is being so disappointing in the past two weeks. Please, fellow American f-listers, try to turn the vote.

Anyway, I wanted to say happy birthday to Harry James Potter, that actual ray of sunshine! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Aww, I love this character so much, guys. And the new book is available! I don't know how to feel about that, actually. I didn't resist and I've read the super-secret-but-not-so-much spoilers about the play and I basically know everything and I'm ... huh?

I'm the in party of those who are mostly confused by JKR's choices (And also can we please keep ignoring the epilogue? I'm enjoying so many EWE fics these days. I don't want to be stopped XD)

But I've read that there's the possibility that they would change something for the definitive version of the play tonight? (Which, I don't even know if it can be done and anyway isn't the book already printed? Does that change too?)

How are you feeling, f-list? Excited for the new book or indifferent?
kikimay: (Two sides of the same coin)

Epilogue )
kikimay: (Oh children)
(Because I've already wrote lame stuff about cute little babies and Harry and Draco as parents)

Headcanon #1, and a fave tbh

- Draco and Harry start dating years after the Battle of Hogwarts even if they manage to realize their mutual attraction during the 8 year. Mostly because life after a war is a mess, Draco never really redeemed himself in the eyes of the public and he deals with depression and guilt. Harry feels like the whole world started spinning way too fast.

- After one year and a half of living together, Draco just comes up with the idea of becoming parents. (It’s not really accurate. Harry had always dreamed about a family on his own and he’s an amazing father for Teddy, so the children issue came up a couple of times, but Harry just pushed it aside because he thought he would never become reality)

- (Fool)

- Draco values the possibility of adoption, but since his past affiliations are still questioned, so he just offers to do it. To bear Harry’s children.

- Of course, Harry is astonished. Men don’t get pregnant! Draco points out that wizards are able to completely change their bodies and take an animal shape for years, even. Harry is astonished. Draco kisses him and promises that everything would be fine and that stuff like that aren’t really unusual in the Wizarding world. The only tricky thing would be tell that to Lucius.

- Of course, it isn’t easy as it seems and it’s dangerous. Draco and Harry go to the best specialists but there are risks and Draco will need to be super-careful. Harry is worried, but healer Luna Lovegood (<3) takes on the case.

- Ofcoursecourse, Hermione does research and discovers *everything* about the issue; Ron gives Harry the best advices about pregnancy problems; Molly starts making little sweaters and Ginny, being the cool aunt in her world tour with the Quidditch team, sends cool cards from everywhere.

- Scorpius and Albus are born on the seventh of July. They are premature and very, very tiny.

- Albus Severus is named after two Headmasters of Hogwarts who are a Slytherin and a Gryffindor and mentors of Draco and Harry. Harry chooses the name Albus to make peace with the past and he does it with hope and gratitude; Draco chooses his godfather’s name.

- Scorpius James is called after Harry’s father and he continues the Black tradition of being named after the stars.

- Draco chooses the Scorpion because his son was about to die and spent his first two weeks in a magical incubator. He was the weaker twin and Draco feared for him.

- The twins left St Mungos a day before Harry’s birthday and were celebrated with a tiny surprise party at home. At midnight their father is also celebrated by his friends and family.

- The following weeks are mostly sleep deprived for both Harry and Draco. Harry decides to take a leave of absence from work to better help Draco. The twins aren’t really terrible, but they are two and Scorpius gets incredibly fussy when he has his little pains and he always wakes up his brother.

- The are, though, the most perfect children ever, according to their unbiased parents, along with their big brother Teddy who is officially a Hufflepuff.

- One September evening Harry comes home late and finds Draco in the garden with the twins. He’s holding Scorpius and talking to him about the stars, while Albus sleeps peacefully in his magical floating sling. He kneels near them and thinks that everything is perfect.

Headcanon #2, the Quidditch dads

So I was talking about Draco parenting a Gryffindor child and Harry parenting a Slytherin one and this scenario came up into my mind. I apologize in advance.

Imagine Draco going to a Quidditch match and, for the first time, sitting among the Gryffindors to cheer for his son who plays the chaser for the team. He would be like “Ugh, ugh, ugh … all these Gryffindors around here … ugh.” and probably push some people and glare at others because he needs a sit in some place with a decent view, move away, peasant. It would be kinda harsh at first and then his son would start playing and he would be lost in the game, openly screaming and cheering for the Gryffindors.

Draco would become like one of those soccer moms who organize the after parties and bring the snacks for the team and he would make slogans and such and discuss the strategy with other parents, “But see, this year we have good chances to win because the Ravenclaw seeker can’t even …” and so on.

Slytherin VS Gryffindors would be still a source of stress, because Draco is incredibly faithful to his house, but he would find a way to support his son’s team and still be the Slytheriest Slytherin to Ever Slyther.

And he would, occasionally, wear something red and applaud to a good action against his house.

No one is allowed to make comments about that. No one is allowed to joke when the matches are on (Especially Harry!!) Once there was an accident during a final. The speaker couldn’t speak. No one discovered why.

On the other hand, Harry would be like perfectly fine with cheering for the opposite team. Yeah, he’s still the Gryffindor golden boy, but he could have been Slytherin at some point and anyway his baby is playing. Who cares?

He would be like the embarassing father totally dressed in green, with a green face and green sparkles on his beard, wearing an enchanted snake scarf and grinning like a loon during the whole match. Because what the hell.

Basically, I like Drarry kid!fic so much. It's embarassing. Nothing to see here.

kikimay: (You Wonderful Boy)
Oooh, finally. Just finished this story basically. Only the Epilogue left, but apart from that it's done. Yay me! (I'm posting despite the stupid uterus pain. Hope it's comforting)

I'm gonna miss this mess, though. I love when a story keeps me company. I also decided to not use two prompts because maybe I could use them in other fics? IDK. I don't want to live the Drarry, it's very satisfactory. Anyway here's the table

Ravenclaw Diagon Alley
Bench Chill
Amortentia Breath Lazy Sweat Remembrall
Patronus End
Danger Tears Hostage Moral Gryffindor

I'm fullfilling four prompts only in the Epilogue. LOL ME.

[ profile] harrydracompreg just posted the authors list and there I am, with my first mpreg story XD

Title: Dinner Invitation (With Surprise!)
Prompt: for [ profile] leontinabowie, 13th prompt; Harry is heavily pregnant and in a happy relationship with Draco. Then one day, Draco informs Harry that he accepted an invitation for dinner at Dudley's house (wanting to make a good impression on Harry by accepting his Muggle family, but not knowing that Muggles don't know about male pregnancy). They can't cancel, so Dudley is in for a surprise

Epilogue compliant?: lol, NOPE
Who is pregnant?: Harry
Notes: Beta [ profile] tavia_d. I changed the prompt a bit. I tried to come up with a valid excuse for Draco and Harry to be anywhere near Dudley and then I fell in love with the idea of Draco not even knowing. I really hope that the prompter appreciates the change anyway. And I hope you all enjoy the story
Summary: Draco planned a perfect, quiet dinner to distract his grumpy and heavily pregnant husband. He just couldn’t imagine to find a Dursley there ... (fluff, humor, angst, happy ending)

SO. The first part of HP and The Cursed Child was performed yesterday and I'm struggling to not look at the spoilers. Guyyyys, how can I handle this curiosity for two more months? I'm not genetically set up for not reading informations when I know where I can get them easily. I even look at my arm when the nurses are taking blood because I'm just too curious to see what is happening!!

I put the filter on Tumblr but then I looked at some stuff and ... yes, I'm a little bit spoiled at this point. My bad.

I just want to know what this thing is all about. The general plot, you know. I will try harder to stay away from the spoilers of the second night, because that would be completely ruining the show by knowing the ending long before the beginning. But I'm just so curious and I would love to read what happens right now. It's so hard to stay away from spoilers. (This fandom is very polite though, everything is tagged and people are respectful of JKR's request)

How do you manage to avoid spoilers when the curiosity is just too much? Also: what are you scared about and what you would like to see in the play?

I won't add any spoiler here, so feel free to comment and talk.

Pottermore added more photos, this time with Draco and Scorpius Malfoy! I HAVE FEELINGS ABOUT THIS SHIT. I'm not gonna lie, after seeing Draco I'm scared about the possible outcome of this play. But let's see what happens. Also, there is a cute video with the photoshoot happening on youtube! You can see the actor who plays Harry talking and you can see THE AMAZING CHEMISTRY between the actors who play Hermione and Ron.

Ron and Hermione are adorable!!! )
